The wheel spider (3) consists of a cast part. The rim ring (3) is manufactured as a cast and/or forged part in a rolling process. The rim ring and wheel spider are fastened to each other by friction welding (R). Both parts or either part consist of magnesium alloy, or aluminium alloy. The wheel spider may consist of aluminium alloy and the rim ring of titanium alloy. |
