PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically execute the changeover of operations by detecting an encoding system used in a cable line on the side of an ISDN network based on control signals on a line. SOLUTION: At the time of receiving 32kbpsADPCM multiplex signals from the ISDN network through corresponding two B lines, an S interface SIF12 separates the signals to the PCM signals TXB1 and TXB2 of 64kbps and supplies them to a separator circuit SEPA1. Then, a central processing unit CPU discriminates that the signals transmitted by the B line are the 32kbpsADPCM multiplex signals based on the control signals on a memory MEM1 and supplies the switching signals SEL of a high value to a switching circuit MUX1. Then, the switching circuit MUX1 outputs the signals ADPCM11 to ADPCM14 as the signals TXB1 to TXB4'. They are respectively stored in registers TRG1 to TRG4 for transmission in a poststage and transmitted to a mobile station PS1 by a transmitter-receiver TRX. |
