<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent flowing water from being obstructed even when river water level is increased by flood by forming a water quality purification means suspended from a holding means so that it is cut off and dissipated by a rise of river water level. SOLUTION: Multiple carriers for fixing hydro-organisms 12 are suspended from a supporting bar 11b through an upper waterproof string 13 and a lower waterproof string 14 in which paper string is included, and immersed in the flowing water of a river which flows in the direction of arrow A. Also a cover 15 to cover the surrounding of the paper string is attached to the string 13. By this, normally the paper string is located at a higher position than the water level and will not be cut off, and holds the carriers 12 in the river water so as to function a purification device 1. Then, when water level is increased by increase in water volume, water advances into the cover 15 through an opening located at the lower end of the cover 15, the paper string is brought in contact with water, and it is cut off by tension whereby the carriers 12 are flown out. Thus water flowing will hot be obstructed even when water volume is increased.</p> |
