<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition, comprising a specific basic compound in a prescribed proportion, good in water resistance and redissolving properties without causing a shock, etc., even by adding a lower alcohol thereto, capable of improving the drying properties and wettability for adherends and useful as a printing ink, etc. SOLUTION: This water-based resin composition comprises (B) a water-bases resin, having carboxyl groups in the molecule and present in a dissolved or a dispersed state in water in the presence of (A) a basic compound. A tertiary alkylamine compound of the formula (R<1> to R<3> are each an alkyl and the total number of carbon atoms therein is 3-9) (preferably tertiary butylamine) as the component (A) is contained in an amount of >=0.2 equiv. based on the total amount of the carboxyl groups present in the resin. For example, an acrylic resin is preferably used as the component (B).</p> |
