LINEARIZED POWER AMPLIFIER DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear power amplifier device which can contribute to obtain compact structure and low cost in a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The carrier signal generated by an oscillator 1 is inputted to a quadrature modulator 2, and the I and Q base band signals are inputted to the amplifier 2. The modulated wave of the modulator 2 is inputted to a power amplifier 6 having the saturation characteristic via a gain amplifier 5. The output of the amplifier 6 is inputted to a signal distributor 7, and a linearized modulated wave is outputted from an output terminal OUT. The coupling output of the distributor 7 is taken out via a detector 9 as an envelope signal S2 and supplied to one of both input terminals of a comparator 10. A base band signal generation part 11 produces a reference envelope signal S2 from a base band signal and outputs it to the other input terminal of the comparator 10. The comparison resultΔS of the comparator 10 is supplied to the gain variable terminal of the amplifier 5.
