PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a granular nonionic detergent composition improved in solubility and washability and sharp in granule distribution by spray-drying a slurry containing a clay mineral, homogeneously kneading and mixing the spray-dried produce powder with a nonionic surfactant and porous inorganic oxide particles, and subsequently grinding the produced solid detergent. SOLUTION: 10-50wt.% of a nonionic surfactant, 0.2-20wt.% of porous inorganic oxide particles having a SiO2 content of >=50wt.% and an average particle diameter of <=20μm, and 0.1-25wt.% of a clay mineral having an oil- absorbability of <=75ml/100g are used. A slurry containing the clay mineral is spray-dried, and the spray-dried product powder is homogeneously kneaded and mixed with the nonionic surfactant and the porous inorganic oxide particles. The produced solid detergent is ground into the particulate or granular detergent to produce the granular nonionic detergent composition. |
