PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend an interval for making adjustment of a valve clearance by achieving improvement in engine performance and stabilize exhaust gas control and prevent a valve and a valve seat from their eccentric touch and wear so as to improve their durability as the result of success in improving gas seal property during operation of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: Valve seats 20/22 are attached to be installed to the combustion chamber side end of a port communicating to the combustion chamber of the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. And a valve for opening/closing the port by attaching/separating face surfaces 44/46 to/from the seat surface 24/26 of this valve seats 20/22 are provided. A seat shaft line A4 is deviated by strainΔS due to heat expansion in relation to a valve shaft line A3 so that the seat shaft line A4 of the valve seats 20/22 may coincide with the valve shaft line A3 of a valve during operation of the internal combustion engine 2 to place the valve seats 20/22 in attachment to constitute this valve construction.
