<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the number of components, make the structure simple, and make an easy preset possible by making a diameter of a rear end side of a stop ring pressing face larger than an inner diameter of a stop ring. SOLUTION: A protective tube 50 has a compresser housing section 51 for housing a stress cone compressor 60, a step section 53, and a sleeve section 54 to be connected to a cable sheath 16. On an inner face of the protective tube 50 near its entrance, a stop ring 63 for presetting is removably installed. The stress cone compressor 60 has a stress cone presser metal fittings 61 having a tapered stress cone pressing and stop ring pressing face and a plurality of springs 62 which are inserted between the stress cone presser metal fittings 61 and the step section 53 of the protective tube 50. A diameter of the ring pressing face at its rear end side is larger than that of the stop ring 63. Due to this structure, a compact premold insulation-type cable connection which requires only a few number of components and has a simple structure can be obtained and the assemblying time can also be shortened.</p> |
