摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption and to keep the output voltage in a standby mode for a current differential amplifier circuit by adding a pair of MOS transistors TR to construct a bistable multivibrator. SOLUTION: The pre-charge signals/PC are inputted at low levels to the gates of pMOS TR P11, P14 and P15, and these TR P11 to P15 are turned on. At the same time, the nodes W11 and W12 are pre-charged by the power voltage and then equalized at the same potential. Then the signals/PC are set at high levels, and the TR P11 to P15 are turned off. Under such conditions, the potentials of both nodes W11 and W12 are reduced according to the currents flowing to the current sources 111 and 112. When the TR P15 is turned off, the potential difference between the nodes W12 and W11 counter to each other is amplified by the positive feedback of a bistable multivibrator consisting of the TR P12 and P13 and the nMOS TR N16 and N17. As a result, the power consumption can be reduced for a current differential amplifier circuit.</p>
