PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance-measuring device by which information can be transmitted wirelessly, which is of a low cost and which can be miniturized. SOLUTION: When a distance-measuring start signal is input to a control circuit 13, a shielding part 6 inhibits light from being projected into a second range, a light-emitting element is driven, and a distance-measuring operation is performed in a first range. Light which is reflected by an object 11 is image- formed on a photodetector 10, and distance-measured result is computed by the control circuit 13 according to the image-formed position. When the distance- measured result is computed, the control circuit 13 moves the shielding part 6, light can be projected into the second range, the light-emitting signal of the light-emitting element according to the distance-measured result is output to a drive circuit 14, and the light-emitting element 3 transmits the light-emitting signal according to the distance-measured result. |
