PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a balloon having an excellent floating and holding ability and high strength in spite of a small size. SOLUTION: This balloon includes each at least one layer of ethylenevinyl ester copolymer saponificated matter layers (layers A) having 1 to 10μm thickness and heat sealing layers (layers B) having 5 to 25μm thickness and consisting of thermoplastic resin layers stretched or rolled to >=1.5 times in area magnification in a longitudinal and/or transverse direction. A ratio (thickness of the layers A)/(thickness of the layers B) is <=0.8 and the weight per unit area is <=26g/m<2> .
