Novel compounds of the formula I and formula II <IMAGE> (I) <IMAGE> (II) in which R and R1, independently of one another, are hydrogen or C1-C4alkyl or together with the carbon atom to which they are attached form a 3,4-dehydrocyclohexylidene ring, R2 is hydrogen, C1-C8alkyl or C5-C6cycloalkyl, R3 is C1-C8alkyl or C5-C6cycloalkyl, R4, R5 and R6, independently of one another, are hydrogen or C1-C4alkyl, R4, R5 and R6 together containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and R7 and R8 are hydrogen or together an additional direct bond, are described for use as stabilizers for organic materials against thermal, oxidative or light-induced degradation.
