PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary let-off type writing instrument in which there is no risk of breakage of a fixing part of a cam by surely transmitting rotational torque to the cam when a rear axis is turned. SOLUTION: A writing instrument is fixed to a fixing screw, in which a cam fixes a clip to a rear axis, and if the rear axis is turned relative to a front axis, the cam is turned so that a writing body for refill, protrudes from a tip opening of the front axis. And a nearly cylindrical fixing ring 9 with bottom having on its top surface a clip setting groove 92 and having in its skirt a notch 94 is fixed to the rear axis 1 by means of a fixing screw 4 and a clip fixing part 31 of the clip is fitted into the groove 92 and a protrusion 51 formed on the cam 5 is engaged with the notch of the fixing ring to transmit rotational torque of the rear axis to the cam through the fixing ring 9. |
