PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the emission inferiority caused by that air bubbles are mixed into the ink chamber of a recording head by the supply of ink accompanied by recording to deteriorate an ink filling ratio in a static control type ink recording apparatus. SOLUTION: The air from an air pump 1 and an air box 2 flows out of the air emitting orifice 5 of a recording head 4 and presses the ink in an ink tank 17 to guide the same to an ink chamber 16. The air venting tube 19 communicating with the air box 2 is provided above an ink chamber 16. The air pressure in this tube is regulated so as to be made lower than the pressure applied to the ink tank 17 to also fill the air venting tube 19 with the ink.
