PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-mobile object communication system with which a vehicle as the mobile object of a communicating party can be exactly specified and communication limited to that specified vehicle can be provided. SOLUTION: Usually, a vehicle A monitors a number plate N of a following proximate vehicle B by a camera part 1 and reads the registered number of the vehicle B from the number plate N photographed by the camera part 1 by an image signal processing part 2. This read registered number of the vehicle B is converted to an ID signal and stored by an ID signal conversion/storage part 3. When it is desired to transmit any information to the vehicle B, the vehicle A forms the ID signal, synchronizing signal and the information to be transmitted on transmission data by a transmission data generating part 4 and transmits them from a transmission part 5 to the vehicle B. Concerning the signal received by a reception part 6 at the vehicle B, the ID signal is detected by an ID signal detection part 7 and compared with the ID signal of the present vehicle later. When both the signals are matched, only the data containing the ID number of the present vehicle are extracted by a data extracting part 8 and its contents are outputted from a data output part 9.
