<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental and medical examination device, simple in structure, useful for both of healthy and physically handicapped persons. SOLUTION: This dental and medical examination device 1 consists of seat 4, foot rest 5, arm rest 6, back rest (back plate) 2 to support the back of a patient, head rest 12 to support the head of a patient, and lift 3. The lead rest 12 rotates around a support 11. When a patient who is not physically handicapped is examined while sitting on the seat 4, the head rest 12 is locked to have its concave directed in the same direction as the back rest 2. When a physically handicapped patient P sitting in a wheelchair W is examined, the wheelchair W is positioned back-to-back with the back rest 12 and the head rest 12 is locked to have its concave directed in the opposite direction to the back rest 2.</p> |
