<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold rear wheels so as to prevent the deterioration of a steering feeling when abnormality is generated in a system, which includes a controller and a sensor or the like, and at the time of straight traveling of a vehicle at a high speed. SOLUTION: A rear wheel steering device is provided with a rear wheel steering angle maintaining mechanism 13 formed of one lock member 26, which can be moved in the vertical direction in relation to an axis of a supporting rod 2, and the other lock member 19, which is directly or indirectly provided in the supporting rod 2, an elastic body 29 for pushing one lock member 26 to the other lock member 19, and a solenoid 24 for maintaining one lock member 26 in the exciting condition, resisting the elastic body 29.</p> |
