PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity by eliminating waste of time and energy in a vulcanization apparatus in which an endless rubber belt which is stretched between two shafts is vulcanized. SOLUTION: For one unit of press 1 equipped with one set of heating plates for heating a rubber belt A held between the plates, an opening/closing means for the plates, and a pressure holding means is accompanied by two units of belt stretching machines 100, 200 which are equipped with two shafts 110, 120 for stretching the rubber belt A, a means for setting the distance between the shafts, and a driving means to rotate the shafts respectively and can move part of the stretched rubber belt A to insert it between the heating plates of the press 1. In particular, the two shafts 110, 120 are arranged horizontally, and the stretching machines 100, 200 are revolved horizontally around support shafts 6, 7. |
