<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply set a temperature by partitioning the inside of a hermetic containing box into an oil sump chamber and a torque transmission chamber by a partition plate, and providing a valve member which is displaced through a connection bar while following deformation of a temperature detecting element accompanying the change in temperature. SOLUTION: In the fan coupling device where the inside of a hermetic containing box is partitioned into an oil sump chamber and a torque transmission chamber by a partition plate 9, when outside circumferential temperature is lowered, a temperature detecting element 12 is curved so as to be deformed, and a connection bar 13 is deformed outward in the axial direction under the energization of an elastic body 27. At this time, a pressing piece 33 is also moved to the same direction, both a fixing piece 31 and a valve piece 32 are subjected to mutually tugging force by a spring 26, and the valve piece 32 maintains its initial position so as to close a feed adjusting hole 8. However, if the outside circumferential temperature is furthermore raised up, and when pressing force to be applied to the pressing piece 33 is increased, a link member 15 is rapidly turned over so as to be deformed, and the feed adjusting hole 8 is thereby released. As mentioned above, the amount of oil within the torque transmission chamber is adjusted, and transmission torque to be transmitted to the hermetic containing box from a rotating shaft body 1 is thereby changed.</p> |
