MANUFACTURE OF CONNECTOR, DIE FOR MANUFACTURING CONNECTOR, MANUFACTURE OF RESIN MOLDED BODY, AND DIE USED THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture front retainer type connectors at low cost. SOLUTION: A die S in the fixed side and a die R in the movable side which can be opened to and closed from the die S are installed. The die S in the fixed side is composed of a feceiving plate 6 and a die plate 7 in the fixed side and at the same time, in the inside of the die S core pins 9, 10 for a housing 3 and a retainer 4 are built in a manner that they can slide and the housing 3 and the retainer 4 are enabled to be molded between the die R in the rotatable side and the pins. After molding, the pins are pulled back from both molding faces. The die R in the rotatable side is rotated to set the molded housing and the molded retainer 4 on the opposite to each other. In this condition, by setting the die R in the movable side close to the fixed side, the retainer 4 and the housing 3 can be assembled.
