PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device which can be simply and safely mounted. SOLUTION: The navigation device has an acceleration sensor 101 for detecting acceleration in the advancing direction of a vehicle and a gyro sensor 102 for detecting angular velocity in the yaw operation direction of the vehicle and an operation means 109 first calculates speed and driving distance from acceleration information obtained by the acceleration sensor 101, calculates a traveling azimuth from the angular velocity information obtained from the gyro sensor 102, and obtains driving distance, traveling azimuth, and vehicle position. |
