PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a medical material which is a substrate onto which heparin is fixed via a quaternary ammonium salt, with ease and uniformity and without any adverse effect on the substrate and such medical material prepared by this method. SOLUTION: An aqueous solution containing an organic solvent and dissolving a quaternary ammonium salt is brought into contact with a substrate surface, and then the substrate surface is washed with water. Next, a heparin solution is brought into contact with the substrate surface, which is again washed with water. |
