PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize exchange resources by selectively using a base station and its peripheral base station whose position is registered by using position information of a PHS terminal equipment and adjacent radio base station information so as to retrieve an incoming call use base station. SOLUTION: A portable terminal equipment 300 gives its position information to an exchange 100 via a radio base station 200 in the case of position registration, a position registration means 101 generates position registration information by making the identification information of the terminal equipment 300 and the base station 200 in cross reference with each other to register its position. In the case of arrival of call to the terminal equipment 300, an incoming call radio base station selection means 104 selects the incoming call radio base station based on position registration information and adjacent radio base station storage information, the portable terminal call reception means 102 reaches the call to the selected base station and relays the base station receiving a call from the terminal equipment among the selected base station to reach a call to the terminal equipment 300. Thus, the base stations used actually for the call reception to the terminal equipment are narrowered and the use of all base stations contained in the exchange is not required to utilize effectively the exchange resource. |
