<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce selectively only a designated hierarchical identification level for a hierarchical broadcast program. SOLUTION: An ISDB (integrated service digital broadcasting) receiver 40 receiving an ISDB broadcast signal obtained by digitizing, applying packet processing and multiplexing main information together with additional information is provided with an ISDB tuner 46, decoding sections 52, 56 decoding a program broadcast signal and the additional information, a coincidence judgement section 62 judging the coincidence with the identification code designated by the additional information, a recording and reproducing section 68 recording the program broadcast signal and the additional information corresponding to it based on a coincidence judgement output with a designated identification code, and a control section 60. When a same identification code as the registered identification code is designated, the corresponding broadcast program is recorded by the recording and reproducing section with the additional information. When each of hierarchical levels added to the same identification code is designated, the content of the broadcast program coincident with the hierarchical level is selectively reproduced and displayed on a monitor.</p> |
