A suction apparatus with water based filtration device for filtration of dust, said device having an upper and lower part, an inlet part (1) for dusty air and an outlet part for filtered air flow. The upper part is formed like a dome (6) adapted to close an upwardly facing opening of the lower part by means of a sieve plate (5) being the means to control and drain off water from the outlet part (7), and to seal between upper and lower part of the first filtering step means of the filtration device. The lower part has the inlet part (1) provided with guide pipe (2) guiding dusty air to a water/air distributor (3) for spreading the air in a wider base of water in order to then rotate and drain water in direction of the guide pipe (2) and the sieve plate (5). The composite filter is associated with a suction motor apparatus (28) using bypass principle, said apparatus being located in a specific cooling chamber (18) located below a second filtering step means or housing (8-14), where the motor (28) pulls with its own operational air cooled air out from the cooling chamber (18) from the vacuum chamber (14) having a channel to the motor chamber (18), such that all air both from the motor (28) and said first and second filtering step means is fine filtered in an end filter (23-24).
