PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the closing of a slide door by providing an autoclosure type lock device which is fully latched through the operation of a motor after the door is manually opened to a half latch position, in the slide door. SOLUTION: Brackets 7, 7 attached thereto with slide doors 6, 6 are attached, slidably in the longitudinal direction, to a longitudinal guide rail laid in the vicinity of an entrance 2 formed in the outer wall of a vehicle body. The brackets 7 can self-travel by means of cables 8, 8 which are turned around by a drive mechanism 14. Further, each of the slide doors 6 is provided with an autoclosure type lock device which is fully latched through the operation of a motor 15 when the door is manually closed to a half-latch position with respect a striker fixed to the vehicle body. The autoclosure type lock device is composed of a front lock device 80, a rear lock device 81 and an autocloser unit. |
