PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace an operator with another operator and to control a musical tone signal without changing the settings of a speech table by converting operator information by using a conversion table. SOLUTION: The electronic musical instrument has three modes. Namely, a mode 1 is a normal mode wherein a press controller is used as it is. Then a mode 2 is for control over a musical tone signal with a velocity instead of the press controller and in this mode, an event conversion table 4 converts data vel on a velocity 1 into press data bc2, which is used as press data bc. Further, a selector 6 passes the data bc2 as it is and the data bc2 is supplied as press data bc to a sound source and a MIDI-OUT terminal. In a mode 3, the musical tone signal is controlled with a velocity and after-touch data instead of the press controller. |
