PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display controller capable of finely setting a combination of the prescribed number of items independent of interruption of a CPU and at every a scan line. SOLUTION: An enable signal of the items (object RAM, screen RAM) is read out in line from a line RAM for item to be stored in ports 2a-2e. The address specification data of the object RAM, screen RAM connected to the set port are read out. A selector 5 is switched under the control of a control circuit 4, and the address specification data are read out in time division, and the address specification data are sent out to a character ROM 8. Characters for an object and a background are read out, and thus, a picture is formed. |
