<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of injury due to contact with a high voltage part in the ON state of a power supply and to prevent data in data processing from being damaged or erased in error at the time of accessing the inside of a personal computer in data processing by providing the personal computer capable of accessing its inside due to the increment/expansion of functions or the like with a function for automatically disconnecting a power supply. SOLUTION: When an external component such as a cover is removed, a detection switch 1 is actuated. At the time of detecting the drive of the switch 1, a detection circuit 2 generates a signal to a control circuit 5. The circuit 5 receiving the signal confirms whether the personal computer executes data processing or not, and when the data processing is executed, executes processing for storing data in a magnetic storage device 3 or a memory 4 with a backup function, disconnects the power supply for the personal computer after the end of data storage. When the data processing is not executed, the circuit 5 immediately disconnects the power supply of the personal computer.</p> |
