WALKING PATTERN PROCESSING METHOD AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and simply acquire a walking spatial and temporal parameter without imposing much load onto a reagent by detecting a parameter representing a walking characteristic corresponding to a step of a pedestrian and displaying the walking parameter. SOLUTION: A step correspondence detection section 6 retrieves clockwise a foot pressure lump image to detect the correspondence of the image with an original time series image string for each step. A gravity center position detection section 7 detects a position of a gravity center of the image string, and a moving direction detection section 9 detects the moving direction of the gravity center position string. An initial frame detection section 10 and a final frame detection section 11 detect an initial frame and a final frame of a step of each image made corresponding by the step correspondence detection section 6 respectively. A time interval detection section 12 detects a time interval between the initial frame and the final frame. A walking parameter display section 13 displays the information based on the result of detection in an intuitionally recognized way.
