PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible inverse reproduction of the compressed waveform data with simple constitution by elongating at every frame retrogressively inversely from a rear frame and inversely reproducing the elongated waveform data. SOLUTION: An alternate reproduction read-out part repeats the processing reading out one sample from a reproducing buffer, outputting it to a D/A conversion part and reproducing it. The read-out is performed inversely. On the other hand, a control circuit commands generation of a waveform sample of a next reproduced second frame to a reproducing buffer now becoming empty. By the command, a read-out/decoding part and an alternate write part read out the compressed waveform sample of the second frame from a compressed waveform memory 105, and read out the frame data of the second frame from a frame memory 106 to decode forwardly, and write the generated waveform data of the second frame in the reproducing buffer. In such a manner, the waveform data are elongated at every frame retrogressively inversely from the rear frame, and the elongated waveform data are reproduced inversely. |
