PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the plural image simultaneous coding system with a high efficiency without revision of the device configuration such as the coding system and the decoder by providing a signal delay section delaying an input image signal and deviating a time relation of multiplexed signals so as to multiplex the signals. SOLUTION: A 1st image signal received via a line 1021 is fed as it is to a signal multiplex section 102. A 2nd image signal received by a line 1011 is delayed by a prescribed time by a signal delay section 101 and fed to a signal multiplexer section 102 via a line 1012. The signal multiplexer section 102 multiplexes the received signal by the predetermined method and the result is fed to a coding section 103 via a line 1022. Compression coding of the input signal is carried out by a predetermined system in the coding section 103 and coded data are outputted via a line 1031. Thus, a time of the 2nd image is delayed by one frame for multiplexing to easily predict the images of the same time. |
