PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add, synthesize and output a full-surface advertizing image having a large advertizing effect with respect to a margin area corresponding to the former original image of one sheet generated when an output attribute such as an N-up printing action or a both-side printing action is designated without exerting an effect on the former original image. SOLUTION: When the advertizing image is held by an advertizing image holding part 5 and the printing attribute such as the N-up printing action with respect to the original image is set by a printing attribute set part 4, the full- surface margin area of the unit of the original image is calculated by a full- surface margin position calculation part 6 based on the printing attribute. Then, the original image is synthesized with the full-surface margin area by an image synthesis part 8 based on the calculated result and the synthesized image is outputted by an image output part 9. For example, when the printing attribute is the both-sided printing action and the number of sheets of originals is an odd number, the full-surface margin area is generated on the back surface of the final page of an output paper and the advertizing image is added and synthesized with respect to the full-surface margin area. |
