PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the method to have provision for even revision of a delay time associated with a change in code quantity as well as permitting synchronization of an image with an audio signal accurately. SOLUTION: The equipment is provided with an image A/D converter 16, a frame counter 17 to obtain a frame number from an image data frame synchronizing signal, an image coding circuit 18 providing a frame number to an image code data, and an audio A/D converter 19, a number provision circuit 20 providing audio data to a frame number, an audio coding circuit 21, a frame number detection circuit 24 detecting an image frame number, a number detection circuit 25 detecting a frame number of audio data, a transmission delay control circuit 26 calculating a difference between the detected frame number and the detected number, a transmission delay memory 22 delaying the audio code data based on the difference and a multiplexer circuit 23. |
