PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a measuring method in which the fluidic level of a comparatively-low- density pulverulent body can be measured precisely inside a waste gasification melting furnace containing a high-pressure gas by a method wherein electromagnetic waves are transmitted from an antenna installed at the upper part of the furnace body of the waste gasification melting furnace, a signal by the measuring device of reflected waves reflected by a solid substance is processed and a place in which the frequency distribution of the signal is most frequent is found as a layer height. SOLUTION: A device by which microwaves as electromagnetic waves reflected by a solid substance are transmitted from an MW antenna and by which their reflected waves are measured is installed at the upper part of a furnace body. The relationship between the frequency distribution and the signal intensity of a measured signal and an in-furnace fluidid state is changed a little by the particle-size distribution of an in-furnace charged object, but the fluidic state can be grasped by a distribution shape. In addition, an in-furnace temperature is changed by the fluidic state. A state that a flow is violent means that the ventilation amount of a subtuyere is much, and there is a tendency that the in-furnace temperature is lowered. On the other hand, in the case of a reverse state, there is a tendency that the in-furnace temperature is raised. Consequently, when the distribution shape is collated with the in-furnace temperature, an in-furnace state can be grasped with better accuracy. |
