The centre of the bridge (22) of the blade attachment assembly is mounted on the end of the wiper arm. The arm mounts at each end, rocking beams, which each drive two rocking beams at the ends of which the wiper blade is held in claws. This assembly allows the blade to follow the contour of the windscreen. The flexible deflector (40) is controlled by the horizontal plate (42), sliding in the clamp (50) at the end of the blade holder. The curved rod (54), attached to the end of the bridge (22) by the clamp (56), is inserted in the piercing (58) in the plate. The blade holder assembly can tilt as the blade sweeps, causing the plate to follow the curved rod and pull or push the deflector on a predetermined path.
