PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately set the intervals between musics of sound recording by stopping light output for the period when the reading-out of the next music is possible after the completion of reading-out of certain music, thereby temporarily stopping the sound recording operation on a sound recorder side during this period. SOLUTION: A changer section 1 selects a desired CD 90 and carries this DC to the reproduction position of a player. The information on the music programs read out of an optical head 3 is converted in a decoder 7 into digital audio signals of 16-bit quantizing and 44.1kHz sampling, and sent to an optical modulation section 12. This optical modulation section 12 transmits an optical modulation signal via an optical cable to another sound recorder for digital dubbing. This digital sound recorder automatically attains the temporary stop state in the period when there is no light input in sound recording mode. At this time, a system controller 11 stops the delivery of the light signals in the period when a changer section 1 makes the operation to change the CD. |
