摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively store integer harmonic tone components, etc., by selecting significant data and resynthesize a sound which is close to a source sound with a small number of components. SOLUTION: The figure shows a (k)th group and a (K+1)th group, which are each composed of three frequency components. A musical sound wave form is analyzed and stored by plural sections of, for example, attack, sustain, decay, etc., as not one data. In this case, each section is displayed as voices and one waveform consists of a voice A, a voice B, and a voice C. The most significant frequency component among the frequency components in this group is decided and selected as a representative frequency component of this group. This figure shows that the frequency component having the largest mean value of intensity is decided as the significant component. In addition, a method which decides the component according to the peak value of intensity may be employed.
