<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an air blowing-out port and an air discharging port from being blocked by snow by a method wherein an outdoor fan is operated for a predetermined period of time for every set time when an outdoor temperature of detected by an outdoor air temperature-sensor during stopped state of operation of an air conditioner is lower than a set temperature. SOLUTION: A top plate 21A of a casing 21 storing a compressor 2 driven by an engine 1 and an outdoor heat exchanger 4 is formed with an air blowing port 25. An outdoor fan 7 is arranged so as to be placed near the air blowing port 25 and at the same time the top plate 21A of the casing 21 is provided with a discharging port 26 of the engine 1. Then, a outdoor air temperature sensor 30 for sensing an outdoor temperature is arranged outside the casing 21. In the case that a temperature of surrounding air detected by the surrounding air temperature sensor 30 during stopped state of the operation of the air conditioner is lower than a set temperature, a fan operating means 31 outputs a signal to the outdoor fan 7 and operates the outdoor fan for a predetermined period of time every set time. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to prevent the air blowing port 25 and the discharging port 26 of the engine 1 from being blocked by snow.</p> |
