PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam shaping optical system in which the deviation of the optical axes of incident luminous fluxes on a shaping area are made almost not so as to be generated even though a shaping prism is inclined with respect to a designed value and the incident luminous fluxes on the shaping area of the shaping prism via a collimating lens are inclined from a designed value because of resistance. SOLUTION: In a beam shaping optical system in which the cross-sectional shape is made to be shaped by making the luminous flux to be emitted from the light source 1 of a semiconductor laser or the like parallel luminous fluxes by a collimating lens 2 to be made incident on the shaping area 3a of a shaping prism 3 and by making them refract and transmit the shaping area 3a, the shaping prism 3 is arranged so that the shaping area 3a almost coincides with the image side focus of the collimating lens 2. |
