<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten a hot stick by providing an air actuator for driving the work tool provided at the tip of an insulating pipe, inside or outside the insulating pipe, and providing a switching valve for operating this air actuator near at hand of the insulating pipe. SOLUTION: A hot stick 11 for wiring work has a holding claw 3 consisting of a fixed holding claw 3a and a mobile holding claw 3a as a work tool, and this holding claw 3 is provided at the tip of the insulating pipe 2 such as ERP or the like. And, an air cylinder 12 for driving the mobile holding claw 3a of the holding claw 3 is provided in the vicinity of the tip within the insulating pipe 2, and a switching valve 13 for operating this air cylinder 12 is provided at hand of the insulating pipe 2. This switching valve 13 and the air cylinder 12 are connected witch each other by an insulating air tube 14 such as nylon, urethane, etc. Hereby, a heavy mechanical ratchet mechanism or lock mechanism become needless.</p> |
