PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cantilever-likely support a planar piezoelectric element with a high strength in a piezoelectric type acceleration sensor. SOLUTION: Rectangular planar piezoelectric elements 33, 34 are fitted at their one end in grooves 32b, 32c formed in a side surface of a columnar base 32 formed of insulator, so that the height direction of the base 32 and the longitudinal direction of the rectangular planar piezoelectric elements 33, 34 are coincident with each other, and are then fixed with the use of an adhesive, thereby the piezoelectric elements 33, 34 are supported in a cantilever-like manner. |
