PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an acceleration sensor using rectangular planar piezoelectric elements, which can be easily assembled, and which is small-sized and highly sensitive. SOLUTION: Piezoelecttic elements 33, 34 are fitted in grooves 32b, 32c formed in a side surface of a columnar base 32 so that the longitudinal direction of the piezoelectric elements 33, 34 is coincident with that of the columnar base 32, and are fixed by an adhesive. Further, the base 32 is stored and fixed in a case 16 so that the longitudinal direction of the piezoelectric elements 33, 34 are coincident with that of the casing 16. |
