PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the edge of a bulb hole in a reflector made from a polycarbonate resin from being deformed by heat transferred from a bulb via a metallic bulb base when the bulb is turned on, in a vehicular fog lamp in which the bulb base is inserted into the bulb hole in the reflector. SOLUTION: Insertion of a bulb base 24 into a bulb hole 14a is performed via an adapter 26 made of polyamide resin. When a bulb 16 is turned on, heaty transmitted from the bulb 16 to the bulb base 24 achieves temperatures as high as about 160 deg.C, while the adapter 26 intervenes to prevent direct transmission of the heat to a reflector 14. Because the polyamide resin has a heat- resisting temperature of about 190 deg.C, deformation of the adapter 26 itself is prevented, and because resin materials including polyamide resins generally have a low heat conductivity, the temperature of the heat transmitted to the reflector 14 is reduced to or below the heat-resisting temperature of a polycarbonate resin. |
