PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a coating film which has high environmental resistance, can be made transparent and suppresses the production of interference fringes, and to provide a production method of the film on a product by vapor phase growing method in continuous processes. SOLUTION: A modified layer containing Si-based or/and Ti-based compds. or at least one of these and having a refractive index changing in the thickness direction is formed on a base body, and further, a hard coating layer containing Si and O and having a const. refractive index is formed on the layer. The modified layer is formed to a thickness between >100nm and <900nm, while the hard coating layer is made thicker than the modified layer. The modified layer improves the adhesion property between the hard coating layer and the base body and has a function to absorb shock added on the hard coating layer. |
