PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a message regarding a vehicle speed in voice as to the travel position display device which displays the position of its vehicle o a display device together with a map. SOLUTION: A CPU 10 computes the vehicle speed on the basis of data from a distance sensor 2. On the basis of the speed data generated by the CPU 10, a speech processor 19 generates the message regarding the vehicle speed and when a switch of an operation part 8 is operated, a speaker 20 outputs the vehicle speed message, or a warning message if the vehicle speed at a guide point is faster than a set vehicle speed.
