PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective coil type noise-preventing high-tension resistance wire that causes little transmission loss and is excellent in heat resistance and withstand voltage by winding a resistance wire of a specific diameter and a specific resistance on a core by a predetermined number of turns, and attaining a specific conductor resistance value as a whole. SOLUTION: A resin or rubber base is kneaded with ferrite powders and extruded to cover a center reinforcing core 1 obtained by twisting of three 1000-denier Aramid fibers, to form a ferrite core 2 with an outside diameter of 1.3mm or less so as to constitute a core 3. A resistance wire 5 with a diameter of 45 to 70μm and a specific resistance of 10 to 50μΩ.cm is wound transversely on the core 3 by a number of turns of 700 or more per meter, and their entire conductor resistance value is set to 2 to 4kΩ/m. A wire obtained by alloying of Al, Si and Mn is desirable for use as the resistance wire. The resistance wire 5 is covered with an insulating layer 6 made from silicone rubber with an outside diameter of 4.6mm or less, and a reinforcing glass braid 7 and a sheath 8 with an outside diameter of 7mm are formed thereover.
