<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the treated end part of a rubber plastic power cable which can load a stress alleviation tube to a cable insulator with a tightening force of elastic rubber in place of heating and can check the condition of semiconductive layer end at the external side of cable. SOLUTION: The cable end of the rubber plastic power cable C is step-peeled to expose a cable conductor 1, a cable insulator 2, an external semiconductive layer 3 of cable and a cable shielding copper tape layer 4. In the treated end part of rubber plastic power cable C, an insertion type stress alleviating tube 12 made of high dielectric coefficient rubber having the tapered portions 12a, 12b at both ends is loaded to a cable insulator 2 by making use of an elastic tightening force thereof and a semiconductive tape winding layer 13 is provided in the external semiconductor layer 3 of cable from the lower tapered portion of the insertion type stress alleviating tube 12.</p> |
