<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently find desired layout by partially changing the arrangement algorithm of blocks from simmulated annealing to a template system. SOLUTION: This automatic layout system transforms an ASD into a BPT (tree structure) having a center substance as a root and divides the respective nodes (blocks) of the BPT into plural pictures. The number of blocks in a picture I is made smaller than '3' (I1 , I2 and I3 ), and its arrangement is dependent on a template. One field Set constitute one block I1 and one data base field in the field Set I1 constitute one block I2 . A field List is displayed in one block I3 but its number is decided by the statistical information of a data base.</p> |
