<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a motion at an edge part of an image more accurately. SOLUTION: A high pass filter 14 extracts a high frequency component of a current frame signal S0 and a high pass filter 21 extracts a high frequency component of a signal S4 of two-preceding frame. A subtractor 12 and an absolute value circuit 13 take an absolute value of the signals S0, S4 to obtain an inter-2-frame motion detection signal 604. A logic circuit 22 obtains a control signal E04 by outputs of the filters 14,21. A sensitivity control circuit 16 decreases the inter-2-frame motion detection signalΔ04 when the control signal E04 is larger and increases the inter-2-frame motion detection signalΔ04 when the control signal E04 is smaller.</p> |
